Methylene Blue is believed to:

- Modulate nitric oxide levels and brain signaling pathways
Potential Side Effects / Considerations
- May cause blue or green discoloration of urine
- High doses may lead to serotonin syndrome when combined with SSRIs or MAOIs
- Potential for gastrointestinal discomfort or dizziness
- Staining of mouth or skin if not properly diluted
- Not advised for individuals with G6PD deficiency
